About Works

Lisako Konoshima's artwork is inspired from the structures and elements of nature.
Her motivation toward artwork is to make a space of relief and comfort surrounded by sumi in private houses and public places. Sumi art sophisticates and at the same time relaxes our environment, and it will dramatically fits and empowers the
western style living. 
currently lives in Kyoto, Japan

1983  born in Japan, moved to San Diego, CA 

2006 Graduated Kyoto Institute of Technology, BA in Architecture
2012   Started Sumie Painting in BOKUGA-Group82
